Paraguay offers one of the most accessible residency programs in the world, coupled with a territorial tax system and a welcoming culture. Whether you are looking for tax efficiency, a second passport, or a new life, we guide you through the bureaucracy—fast, legal, and stress-free.
Paraguay is famous for being “Expat Friendly.” But “Friendly” does not mean “Simple.” The immigration process involves multiple government ministries, legalizations, Interpol checks, and strict document formatting.
One missing stamp or one mistranslated birth certificate can delay your process by months. Trying to navigate the Migraciones office alone, without fluent Spanish or knowledge of the latest Law 6984 regulations, is a recipe for frustration.
We are not just fixers; we are your project managers for freedom. We work alongside top immigration lawyers and official public notaries to ensure your file is 100% compliant before we ever step foot in the government office.
We hold your hand through the entire process—from the moment you land at the airport to the moment you hold your Cédula (ID Card) in your hand.
Crucial Step.
We guide you on exactly which documents to bring (Birth Certificate, Police Record, Marriage Certificate) and how to get them Apostilled in your home country.
We review scans before you fly to ensure no errors.
You travel to Asunción. We pick you up and drive you to the necessary offices (Police, Interpol, Migrations). You skip the confusion. We handle the Spanish interactions.
Time required in country: Typically 3 to 5 business days.
You can return home while the government processes your file. We track the status weekly. Once approved, we pick up your Residency Card.
Once residency is granted, you come back to Paraguay to apply for your Civil ID card.
This is your key to opening bank accounts and signing contracts.
Looking for a tax-friendly base with a low cost of living.
Looking to buy land or open a company (Residency simplifies doing business).
Looking for a peaceful, affordable country with warm weather year-round.
We believe that a great experience starts with clear communication. Traveling to a new country involves many details, and we want you to feel 100% confident before you book. Below, we have answered the most common questions travelers ask us regarding our safety standards, logistics, and service quality. If you don’t see your question here, we are just a message away.
Under the new Law (6984/2022), most applicants receive Temporary Residency (valid for 2 years) first. Before it expires, you apply to change it to Permanent. Immediate Permanent Residency is now reserved largely for specific investor categories (SUACE).
Currently, Paraguay is very flexible. To maintain Temporary Residency, you generally need to visit the country at least once a year. It does not require you to live here 365 days a year (unlike Europe or USA).
Yes. Once you have your residency and Cédula, you have the same labor rights as a Paraguayan citizen. You can work, open a business, or be a freelancer.
Paraguay operates on a Territorial Tax System. This generally means income earned outside of Paraguay is not taxed by Paraguay. Note: We are not tax advisors; we recommend speaking to a local accountant, which we can introduce you to.
For Temporary Residency, you usually need to prove "economic solvency." This is often done by signing an affidavit or showing a specific amount in a bank account. We will guide you on the current requirement as it changes slightly by administration.
Our quote usually includes our service fee and legal fees. Government taxes/stamp duties/notary fees are often billed separately at cost, or we can provide an "All-Inclusive" package. We will break this down clearly in your consultation.
Yes. You can sponsor your spouse and dependent children. Each family member needs their own set of apostilled documents.
No, because we are with you. However, the government officials will speak Spanish. We act as your translator during the interviews and biometric data collection.
