You cannot visit this part of South America without seeing Iguazu. Eleanor Roosevelt famously said “Poor Niagara” when she saw it. It is an overwhelming display of nature’s power.
But here is the reality: Iguazu is on the border of Brazil and Argentina, about 5 to 6 hours from Asunción. Taking a public bus means a 7-hour journey, confusing border stops, and managing luggage in the heat. It turns a dream trip into an endurance test.
